Is everyone in the industry really that happy right now? If so, great! I do not, will not, can not, poach anybody, never have, never will, so YOU, dear restaurant employee, have to take the initiative and write me at donrockwell@dcdining.com. Your communication will be held in absolute confidence, with no exceptions. Likewise, if a restaurant contacts me and says "we're looking for a new chef," and I know you're the chef there, I can't violate the restaurant's confidence and tell you. Not even if you're a friend of mine. This is the way it has to be for me to keep clean hands. There is absolutely zero margin for error here.
