Q: Back to food and the social media. Everyone is a critic now. Good or bad?

A: I think it is fantastic because it has changed professional restaurant criticism for the better. The people getting paid for it have to be better than the people who aren't. The burden on them is much bigger. That said, in the world of social network I think there is a lot of good and bad information. What is great is that people used to just automatically take a critic's word for it. But you also can't just blindly look at Yelp and believe the first thing you read. You have to read through everything.
