DonRocks Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 The Transit of Mercury is occurring *right now*, and can be viewed live by clicking here, and initiating the video: "Transit of Mercury 2016: Follow Today's Celestial Event - Live" on theguardian.com You have a few more hours to watch this phenomenon, where Mercury traverses across the face of the sun - go to the first link (Wikipedia), and read about it; then click on The Guardian article where you'll be able to see it as it's happening. A minute or so is all you'll need to capture its grandeur, but it's something you should definitely do *right now* because you won't have another chance for 3.5 years.
