DonRocks Posted November 8, 2018 Share Posted November 8, 2018 11/07 - Election Day - Democrats take control of the House of Representatives for the first time since the 2010 elections. 11/08 - President Trump forces Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign. 11/08 - After an extremely heated press conference, the White House revokes CNN reporter Jim Acosta's press pass. 11/08 - Thousand Oaks, CA, bar shooting leaves 12 dead - Trump tweets his condolences to the victims. 11/09 - Federal Appeals Court rules that Trump cannot rescind DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). 11/09 - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says 'there isn't any chance' that Trump will stop [Special Counsel] Robert Mueller's probe. 11/09 - Trump claims not to know interim Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, directly contradicting what he said in October. 11/09 - Whitaker posts, on the official Department of Justice web site, that "Our Southern Border is in crisis," 11/10 - Trump blames "California Forest Management" for the record wildfires there, and threatens to cut off federal aid. 11/10 - While in France, Trump skips scheduled visit to French World War I Cemetery because of rainy weather. 11/11 - French President Emmanuel Macron: "Patriotism is the exact opposite of Nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism." 11/12 - Trump, with no evidence, calls Florida midterm recount ballots "massively infected," and demands that recount end. 11/13 - First Lady Melania Trump calls for top National Security Aide Mira Ricardel to be fired. 11/14 - White House says it has "broad discretion on press access," and has the right to exclude Jim Acosta. 11/14 - Trump's Twitter assault on Emmanuel Macron "lacked common decency," France says. 11/14 - Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocks a Senate bill protecting Robert Mueller's probe 11/15 - Pursuant to Melania Trump's public denouncement two-days prior, Mira Ricardel is released from the White House. 11/15 - Trump rages on Twitter about Robert Mueller and his "Total Witch Hunt," adding that this is a "disgrace to our Nation." 11/16 - Trump says that he should have visited Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day. 11/16 - U.S. intelligence officials conclude that Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. 11/17 - Trump states that the intelligence reports about Mohammed bin Salman and Jamal Khashoggi are "premature." 11/17 - Trump says that unless he gets funding for a border wall with Mexico, this would be a very good time for a government shutdown. 11/17 - Trump claims that he hasn't, and won't, listen to the murder tape of Jamal Khashoggi because it's so brutal. 11/17 - Trump calls Louisiana Representative Adam Schiff, "Adam Schitt," in a tweet defending acting Attorney General, Matt Whitaker. 11/18 - Trump tweets that we should have caught Osama bin Laden much sooner, after criticizing retired Admiral Bill McRaven. 11/19 - Former intelligence officials lambaste Trump for saying we should have caught bin Laden much sooner. 11/20 - Army Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Buchanan says the troops at the Mexican border are leaving, and will be home by Christmas. 11/20 - Trump issues statement that Saudi Arabia will not be punished, despite the evidence linking bin Salman to Khashoggi's murder. 11/20 - A bipartisan letter from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee orders Trump to provide conclusive answers about bin Salman. 11/20 - The New York Times reveals that Trump attempted to order the Justice Department to prosecute Hillary Clinton and James Comey. 11/21 - Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. rebukes Trump's criticism of "Obama Judges" on the Supreme Court. 11/21 - Trump tweets to Chief Justice Roberts, insisting that the "Obama Judges" are "making this country unsafe." 11/22 - Trump reveals that this Thanksgiving, he's thankful for himself, and for what a terrific job he's doing with the country. 11/23 - 13 federal agencies issue a dire warning about climate change, saying that the U.S. is already feeling tremendous effects. 11/26 - Trump says he doesn't believe his own agencies' report saying that climate change will harm the U.S. economy. 11/27 - Trump gets fact-checked by a reporter about his immigration policy, and immediately walks away. 11/27 - Trump claims to learn more about situations from his "gut" than he does from other people's "brains." 11/28 - The U.S. Senate votes to rebuke and limit Trump's policy supporting Saudi Arabia in the war against Yemen. 11/29 - In a potentially devastating turn, former Trump fixer Michael Cohen pleads guilty and reveals Trump's involvement in Russia. 11/29 - Trump calls Mueller's probe "an illegal hoax" and calls for it to end, after Michael Cohen's guilty plea and agreement to cooperate. 11/30 - At the G20 Summit in Argentina, Trump walks off during a photo shoot, leaving Argentinan President Mauricio Macri all alone. 12/01 - Trump praises President George H.W.
