Restaurants, Politics, Bull Frog Bagels and BDS--Oy Vey

Politics has invaded the restaurant industry and restaurants are aligned with controversial topics.  Of recent note:  Bull Frog Bagels, (BFB) its owner, and two kids in college are tied in with BDS, the movement to boycott Israeli goods. An interesting food/political sidelight is that since this news broke BFB has been the recipient of negative reviews in Yelp among the most recent.  Blasting businesses in national review sites (Yelp, Google, TripAdvisor) has been an interesting phenomena since review sites grew prominent.   What do they want to boycott??   Sabra the popular hummos that holds down 60% of the US grocery market and is based in Israel (I didn't know either of those facts till very recently)

Meanwhile in one of the cited articles Jeremiah Cohen, owner of BFB said he did not support BDS.  (who knows???).  Back in 2016,  Mr Cohen got some news as the chef at **Censored** Hotel stated they would be serving BFB bagels and Jeremiah Cohen said--NO WAY.  

All of the BDS controversy is very current and who knows how it will pan out.   Meanwhile there is a current petition to boycott BFB.  Politics, restaurants, food,--OY VEH!!!
