Ericandblueboy
I know Great Wall (VA) has that cafeteria with roast meats and dim sum (as does the new market in Eden Center), but I'm looking for stuff like spicy beef tendon, marinated duck feet and baos like they use to carry at Kam Sam. Does such a market exist around DC?
DonRocks
Well, it's not Chinese, but there are some Chinese influences at the Centreville Lotte (in Centreville Square at the intersection of Route 29 and Centerwood Drive). I also saw a family there attacking an entire, large lobster (it wasn't even cut). Does this help? Or are you looking for something a little more, erm, "helpful?" Note also that this Lotte is not the one in Chantilly (there's one there also, and, of course, they're Korean). I did see Bao sitting out on a shelf at Chin Jong Jip, but they may not be of top-level quality. If you look closely, you can see that Tian advertises itself as being "Korean and Chinese." I'll be in Chantilly this week, most likely - if you can tell me what type of photos would be helpful to you, I'll try and take some.
