Should Costco have its own thread? I don't know how many of them sell fresh food and meat. I bought one of the buy and bake pizzas at Costco today. It seemed awfully cheap ($7.99). I decided that was probably because it was square and they may be experimenting with that (square takebake combo--the pepperoni and plain cheese were the same price). I have a Wolf Range--not the full commercial but fancier than a basic home range. It has 6 burners. I think if it as being pretty big. It's never been inadequate for anything we've asked of it in going on 2 years. (I'd have to dig through paperwork to give the precise specs.) The pizza is too big to fit in my oven! It looked like it might just fit, but I realized immediately that the front glass door was getting coated in cheese and tomato. I folded a margin of it over and am still attempting to cook it. When I bought it, I had figured if it was terrible, it was only $8, but I didn't factor in to that the labor cost of cleaning my oven door. Thank you very much .

In an effort to spend less I'm evaluating all of my spending to see where I can save money. One thing I am not willing to compromise on is good coffee, but I'm wondering if I can find a more affordable option that will still taste great. I had been ordering from Blue Bottle, but have recently switched to primarily buying from Whole Foods, which saves me some money, but I'm wondering about what's available at Costco - both the Kirkland brand and the others they sell. Has anyone tried them that can share their experiences? I tend to like medium roasts - Guatemalan & Mexican beans seem to be good options when I'm trying a new roaster so I got interested in the Kirkland Guatamalan, but though its labeled as a medium roast, the reviews seem to indicate its very dark. 4-6 lbs of coffee is no small commitment for someone living alone who generally drinks one cup a day so input is appreciated!

Wawona Packing Co. in California is recalling certain lot numbers of peaches, nectarines, plums and pluots packed in June and early July and sold nationally at Trader Joe's and Costco, due to Listeria contamination. There is a link in the article to a list of lot numbers. If you scroll down past the list of numbers, there are images of the fruit labels with the specific fruit numbers visible. I had a package of plumcots purchased dring that time at Costco, but the number did not match. Good thing, because I've already eaten some. Fruit recall
