The location is set. True to his word, everyone take a moment to thank @DonRocks. The picnic is set for July 29 at Carderock Picnic Pavillion. I have not had the joy of attending any of the past picnics, but as the lead in this, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME being at this one. The only "price" of admission is that you are a registered member of the forum. WIN WIN, I say. I can only imagine the deliciousness everyone will be bringing to this event. I am actually looking forward to seeing some old friends, and walking away with new ones. C' 'mon we are a fun bunch, with gobs of insight on everything ranging from food, to the proper use of the oxford comma. In the meantime, I have a picnic to plan. Its gonna be epic. The annual dr.com fall picnic will be held, as usual, at Fort Hunt State Park, at picnic area C-2. I just made the reservation for October 13, which is the earliest available Sunday date. I am organizing it, and also bringing a roast suckling pig. -
The weather has been so beautiful lately that when i was offered an opportunity to cook outdoors, i did not hesitate to agree. This event is designed for singles to meet and mingle while enjoying some of Amoo's signature specialties. All you have to do is become a member of the group and RSVP to the link provided.
