Philly's Cheesesteak Factory, Frederick

Located adjacent to a motel on 355, slightly south of Grove Rd., Philly's Cheesesteak Factory has been hammering out cheesesteaks for about 2 1/2 years now. The rolls are from Amoroso's, and a "Whiz, wit" will get you a generous slathering of the orange goo out of the #10 can. The steak gets a medium chop prior to assembly. There are other cheeses and sandwich varieties available as well, but I haven't tried them yet. In the vein of emulating Pat's/Geno's hastily-assembled cheesesteaks, the result is not bad...far better than the Gaithersburg location of South Street, certainly.
