DonRocks
DO NOT MIX. The 2009 benaza Godello is undrinkable. I've been to the wineries in Valdeorras, and know for a fact that some of them make special "American cuvées" in new oak for export only. This is like dumping Karo molasses on a piece of ama-ebi sashimi.

It was recommended to me - maybe it's a bad bottle masquerading as being oaky? I couldn't get through two glasses - offered it to a friend who said "eeewwww" and opened a cheap Argentinian Torrontes in its stead.
