To me El Toro Bravo is an old friend. You don't have to ask how they are doing, you don't want any major surprises. This is a very solid little mexican restaurant. It has been there for years, putting out good food at good prices. This is no Frontera Grill, but you can find good chimichangas, tacos and enchiladas. They have cheap and quick lunch service with lots of options. I like their salsa and their chips. It is kind of like La Union restaurant in Arlington. Things are pretty much homemade with care, but not high end. And now the seats in the booths don't have huge cracks in them, taped with duct tape, pretty amazing.
