Cleaning Cuisinart Food Processor Handle

My food processor handle is moldy. I've tried slowly pouring soap and water, bleach, etc. Any advice?

Maybe a small-headed, disposable electric or regular toothbrush?

Corn meal also makes a good abrasive for weird places like that.

Yeah, that's a really crappy design, isn't it. At least on mine (11 cup) there's no way to get in there without breaking some plastic. Mine's not moldy, just really trashy. The mold will come, I guess. Have you called Cuisinart? I'm curious what they say we should be doing because of their poorly designed bowl. I guess replacements are available right?

9:1 ratio water to bleach. It still might not look good, but it'll be dead.
