And received criticism for picking Harvard? I had no idea James Brown ever played basketball, much less played for DeMatha. 1969 was Adrian Dantley's freshman year (I don't know if freshmen played varsity back then) - Dantley is #9 on the NBA all-time scoring list. Just as DeMatha ended Power Memorial's 71-game winning streak, a Dantley-led Notre Dame ended the Bill Walton-led UCLA's 88-game winning streak.
