Al Dente
In my habitual "Random Article" Wikipedia surfing I found this gem: Emu War - "a nuisance wildlife management operation undertaken in Australia over the latter part of 1932 to address public concern over the number of emus said to be running amok in the Campion district of Western Australia." DonRocks
A more humorous take I'm not sure if encyclopedia.wikia.com has articles like this for every actual historical event of significance (I don't see how it could), but this was Onlon-like in its quality. People should find this parody funny. People may even find the actual *event* funny. So much the better! Nevertheless, it's a very real part of our world heritage, and one worth knowing about. I say, Al Dente, bring stuff like this on and let's make History entertaining for the masses. Much obliged for your efforts, truly!
Al Dente
The uncyclopedia is hilarious. Check out the entry on Auguste Escoffier the inventor of food.
