ulysses
For whatever reason I can't stop thinking about this. I'm tempted to order a case of them. Do any of the K.C. expats remember these?
Barbara
For whatever reason I can't stop thinking about this. I'm tempted to order a case of them. Do any of the K.C. expats remember these?Oh, Boy! Does this bring me back. To El Paso, that is, more than 50 years ago. My Godmother took us to Mass every Sunday while my Father was in Korea, and so my (Protestant) Mother could sleep in. She always took us to get a sweet afterward, partly to ensure my good behavior. I used to get those and never saw, or thought about, them until the 1980s when I saw some in a vending machine. I bit into it and was 3 years-old again in a flash.

Spiral Stairs
Huh. I haven't thought of these in a long time, and I had no idea they were (somewhat) regional in their availability and popularity. Now I want one. Or three.
