Road trip? Deberah Sutter of Nourish in Rehoboth has the best homemade nacho chips I've ever tasted -- golden light and crisp, but sturdy enough to hold up to a big scoop of her homemade guacamole. Not sure what oil she uses to fry those chips, but they are delicious. I'm sure she could recommend a cheese too, but they are really great all by themselves. Hello! I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love to try new foods and restaurants, especially those that serve interesting vegetarian options. We recently moved to a new section of Alexandria called "Carlyle" near the PTO and the Federal courthouse. There are some nice restaurants here -- Delia's, the Carlyle Club, Zikrayet's -- but, we are always looking for more. Old Town is great, but it is nice to have someplace nearby to hang out and relax. Has anyone heard who is setting up shop in the old Heidi's Brooklyn Deli space on Duke St in Alexandria near the King St Metro? The sign out front reads: Mezze Mediterranean Cuisine -- Opening Soon.
