lairey
Hi, folks. I'm looking to host a birthday dinner in early/mid-April for about a dozen people. I was thinking somewhere with small plates might be good, so everyone can share and pass around. We did a recent group dinner at Ping Pong Dim Sum, which worked well but I don't want to repeat the venue since the guest list will have a lot of overlaps. I'd prefer the the District to the suburbs, but otherwise I'm flexible on neighborhood. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
goldenticket
Zaytinya comes to mind. Or Cork, particularly if you could reserve the upstairs area which would probably hold around 12 people. Or a Lebanese Taverna location - plenty to choose from.
Lola007
I had a bday celebration at Jaleo (Penn Quarter location) a few years ago, and it was great! We even had two Sevillanas dancers grace us with their talent. I also like the suggestion of Lebanese Taverna.
sandynva
if the weather's nice, the roof of tabaq might be a nice option.
GennaroE
Masa 14 might be a good spot, especially since they're planning to open up their rooftop as well.
