B.A.R.
I accidentally made a duplicate copy of all songs in my ITunes. 16,000+. Phuc. There is a very simple way to delete them if you use a Mac. I use a PC. Double-phuc. The most common resolution is to individually delete each, and the corresponding files. All 16,000. Uh, totally phuct ! The "genius" at the Apple store smuggly told me he "hasn't used a PC in years" and well, I was phuct. I wanted to pound his head into the "genuis" bar until all his "genius" spilled out. I have found code and a program on the internet, but am scared shitless do do anything further. Anyone have any advice? Will none/either/both of these work? This is a smart crew, and I trust you. PLEASE PM ME AND DO NOT REPLY, (unless Rocks thinks it may be for the greater good)
B.A.R.
So I broke down and bought the program linked above. It worked like a charm, cleaning up my entire library and corresponding registry in about 10 minutes. If anyone else out there is dumb enough to install their entire iTunes library twice, this is an easy way to fix it.
goodeats
Thanks for the tip B.A.R.! I think this is why I am in the dark ages and have not purchased an iPod or used iTunes (technology world, or certain aspects = scary).
