hillvalley
I'm looking for someplace in DC or Bethesda that has really good cinnamon rolls. With lots of icing dripping everywhere. And when you heat it up at home it becomes a gooey pile of cinnamon roll goodness. I'm thinking this is how New Years Day should begin.
Joe H
The best cinnamon rolls on the face of the earth are at the Hershey Pantry in "downtown' Hershey, Pa. This is not connected with Hersheypark or Hershey Foods; privately owned and a landmark for twenty + years. Great breakfast, too. Unfortunately it is known and enormously popular. Worth the two hour drive. http://www.hersheypantry.com/

Well, there is a Cinnabon in the pre-security hall at National Airport. It doesn't get much gooier than that, does it?

If you don't mind baking a bit to begin New Years, these are a-m-a-z-i-n-g, and absurdly easy to make
zoramargolis
My lazy, guilty pleasure is the bake yourself cinnamon buns in a can from Trader Joe's. We had them on Christmas morning, and I heard only happy noises, no complaints. Make some extra icing if you want them super gooey,
