JLK
In the Feb 10-16 issue of Washington City Paper on page 14, there's a new feature where restaurants with health code violations have the opportunity to share their side of the story. I am not familiar with either of the two places highlighted in this issue (Cafe Recess in SE; Pizza Napoli's Flying Chicken in NW), unfortunately, and I wonder if they'll ever get some of DC's more prominent restaurateurs with violations to speak publicly. My instinct tells me that this is a bad idea.
Dr. Delicious
I've long been addicted to the health code violations section in the Washington Post. There are so many repeat violators; I’ve often wondered how they keep their licenses. And now, another outlet for my addiction, and with rebuttals as well! Can you say livin the sweet life?
