DonRocks Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I don't know whether or not Al Jazeera America was stigmatized, but for me, it was a terrific source of news - important, world news with roll-up-your-sleeves reporting and intelligent journalism. Perhaps they were biased, but they never seemed that way to me. Now, if you want to find out what's going on in Africa, Asia, and many other places in the world, you have to look elsewhere. Their coverage of soccer was excellent, and I'm going to miss learning about current events in counties the United States seems not to deem "important" enough to write about because they don't involve us directly.
