bookluvingbabe
Out of town guest coming in this weekend. We're going to do Palena on Saturday without BLToddler in tow but we were hoping to do something downtown-ish on Friday night on the early side. To complicate matters, BLToddler is allergic to eggs and is a vegetarian still. Mostly we just order a few veggie sides for him and/or a cheese plate. My first choice was Jaleo but they don't have tables available in our time frame. Then I was thinking Central but we always go to Central...Zaytinya doesn't hold much appeal for us. Mostly I want something fun, good food and relatively fast so we don't totally blow bedtime. And that won't totally blow the bank account. I'm drawing a blank. Help! Thanks! goldenticket
Bistro d'Oc? Or how about Oyamel or Rasika? Teaism always comes to mind, but it sounds like you're looking for table service at least (it would definitely fit the budget).

Can't do Rasika--house guest will not eat anything Indian at all. Will check the menus on the others. Thanks!
goodeats
Any interest in Firefly? They now have a kids menu that have some vegetarian options, such as macroni and cheese and such.
