I have done a visual riff that I call "German sushi" - a nigiri of fried potato topped with herring with a blanched green onion as the nori...horseradish sour cream to dip. I want to provide a little (emphasis on little) more variety and I plan to do a bias slice of wurst (maybe bockwurst) on the potato with some sweet german mustard to dip. I know of the German Gourmet in NoVA but I'm too lazy to go there unless I must. Can I get some passable wurst closer to MoCo? TIA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
