Holiday Catering for $10 per Person

For the past four years, my wife and I have hosted a non-denominational Christmas party where the only requirement to get in is that you bring a donation to Toys for Tots.

I used to cook myself, but we ended up inviting more and more people and starting last year we decided to cater. We ended up getting take out from Tony's in Fair Lakes and the cost ended up working out to $10 per person. With almost thirty people expected this year, we really don't want to spend any more than that.

We'll probably end up doing Tony's again because it's cheap and not that bad, but I was curious if anyone had any other suggestions.

Here's last year's haul on its way to the Toys for Tots drop:

Hard Times Cafe has reasonable prices for decent food. Here is the "u-cater" menu. I used them for an office lunch and was really happy with the value (less than $7 pp). There were lots of leftovers that did well in the freezer.

Happy Holidays!

Hmm... if I were going to do chili, I would want to make it myself.
