stickmoon
About two weeks ago a food cart called "Ali Baba Falafal" began service in Bethesda...it's on 7155 Wisconsin Ave (right next to the Women's Co-op and across the street from a Starbucks). I thought their falafal was better than nearby Moby Dick's...spicy and moist rather than dry and crumbly. They also have philly-style cheese steaks, polish sausages, and a few other lunch items. Just did a google search and found this recent link (click) from Washington City Paper
DonRocks
Ali Baba's Falafel has shut down (here is the Gazette.net story). I could swear I've driven by there and seen it more recently than February, but perhaps not. It's disappointing to me, because I'd always meant to try it despite the relatively high prices. Darn, I noticed it was not in it's usual place, I'm sorry to hear it's no more.
