MelGold
The Neighborhood Restaurant Group is currently in search of friendly, knowledgeable and quick-witted people to serve as dining room managers at Tallula in Arlington, as well as the group's newest restaurant Rustico (opening next month on Slaters Lane in Alexandria). A Dining Room Manager works closely with the restaurant's general manager and is tasked with planning and directing all aspects of guest services, including the hiring, training, and scheduling of front-of-house staff, customer relations, and problem solving. Successful candidates should have strong communication skills, some experience in front-of-house operations, a solid work ethic and the ability to work exceptionally well with people. Some knowledge of food, wine and beer is a plus at both locations. Competitive salary, benefits, and the opportunity for growth within the organization. Send resume and cover letter to jmbeck8282004@verizon.net or fax to 703.549.8520. Edited January 18, 2006 by MelGold
