Food Blogs Beyond the Beltway

Earlier this week someone posted to Frank Bruni's blog at the NYTimes where he explained why he picked up Chef Jose's book on tapas. It made me wonder what other food blogs do people read, whether occassionally or daily.

Food Section has great links. I like Josh's posts, though I wish they went beyond nyc. Eat Drink profiles a few interesting new yorkers' and what their relationship to food is (an extended "what's in my fridge") and the Wednesday Chef makes the recipes in the newspaper food sections.

Ah, glad someone bumped the thread -- I try not to self-promote too much around here but I did just write a roundup of much-adored foodblogs over on Intrepid. One local (by a DR.com member no less) and two non-locals are among my favorites.

Mostly, they entrap me with gorgeous photography.

I've enjoyed the Tasting Menu blog for a few years. He recently revitalized it by adding a co-writer who is a young chef.

Then there's the 101 cookbooks blog.

Also I've discovered recently that the Rancho Gordo site has a blog. I love his products and am having fun reading back through a few months of that.
