Jill Cheese Lady
Can anyone help with a recommendation for a Christmas Eve dinner location in Alexandria? We were hoping for something cozy and low-key (party of 9). Thanks!
David M.
Can anyone help with a recommendation for a Christmas Eve dinner location in Alexandria? We were hoping for something cozy and low-key (party of 9). Thanks! Hmm. Del Merei Grille is an option, but I'm not sure I'd call it cozy. Perhaps Trattoria da Franco on S. Washington. It has been a while since I've been (so I'm reluctant to opine), but Kliman has spoken highly of it recently.
Al Dente
Perhaps check with Le Refuge to see if they're open and whether they can handle 9. It's certainly cozy and they serve up some straightforward French comfort food. Plus you can walk around Old Town afterwards and check out the Christmas lights. Come to think of it, I might have to drop in the next night or two.
