  1. Prime One Twelve This place is amazing! I went there in May with my S.O. We had the Prime One Twelve Signature Salad (HUGE), the Porterhouse for 2 with Truffle Butter, loaded Salt Baked Potato, and Creamed Corn. The food is amazing, rich, juicy, and plentiful. Supposedly it is a star sighting restaurant (Jamie Fox and Salma Hayek has been seen(. The service was impeccable the atmosphere gets pretty lively once all the tables were seated. I guess one thing I didn't like about the place was that it was really loud. Most definitely a place to go when you are in South Beach
  2. i believe i'll be getting the madone but the lower end madone model type. they told me the approx. value was 5k.
  3. i absolutely love kotobuki! i went there a couple of weekends ago right after a not so pleasant sushi experience at cafe asia. this is my second time doing this, guilty as charged. but come on i'm sure any kotobuki lover will do the same thing if their friends drag you to cafe asia when your palette has been set to the standard of kotobuki's sushi. my favorites: sushi: toro eel lobster roll: rainbow i usually start with the seaweed salad and of course got to have my miso soup with my sushi! have you guys tried the green tea mochi? it is one of the best green tea mochi i have ever had. if you are patient enough to let it sit for a bit for the ice cream to thaw, it's just perfect!
  4. lil more off topic I heard they are owned by different companies. I found this out on Saturday when I was talking to the Coca Cola account exec. for Tyson's Corner I. He said that they have a partnership with Tyson's I and not Tyson's II (Galleria). Why was I talking to this guy? hehe. Written in next lines. Why I like the expansion: Anyone see the Coca Cola promotional booth in Tyson's I on Saturday? Well I participated in the Ticket Tank and I won the grand prize. The Lance Armstrong autrographed Trek bike. THANK YOU EXPANSION! hehe. Anyways I really hope Morimoto's restaurant opens soon. Anybody know exactly when? Been waiting for that place to open for a long time. Has anybody been to his restaurant in Philly?
  5. RW Went to Cafe Mozu Friday night. After a wonderful experience from the previous RW, we made reservations again. We started with the duck springrolls and the dumpling soup. The duck springrolls were great. The dumpling soup base seemed to be a little too gingery and salty for my taste. For the entree, I chose the NY strip steak and my s.o. got the cod with pomegranate. The steak was overcooked for my palate but the sauce companion (korean chili paste) made it okay. My s.o.'s cod was wonderful. It literally melted in your mouth, but could not taste the pomegranate distinctive flavor in the dish. We finished with their signature black and white martini shakes for dessert. I thought the service was a little bit rushed, but overall attentive. I would recommend this place as a great date atmosphere!
