That is the only point of my comment. What is the point of this line of rants? Should we all not eat out? Is someone forcing you to eat out? I don't consider my posts rants, but observations on the incredibly difficult economic time this country, and the world, faces. My understanding, from following the posts, is that people are not signing up for events at the rate they formerly had. As has been pointed out, many of these dinners are deals so there is an incentive to participate. But, people are not falling over themselves to do so.
