DPop
Preferably whole lobster, my wife is kind of partial to cracking and picking out the meat. Any ideas? Price is not an object.
goodeats
Cooking yourself or at a restaurant? If cooking, I really like buying lobster from Salt River. Meat was really sweet. As for a restaurant, I really enjoy Legal Sea Foods in Crystal City. Do not go to any of the other Legal Sea Foods (although the Chinatown one wasn't so bad either). I've had really good lobster experiences there cracking whole lobsters.
DPop
Definitely want to do a restaurant. Also, I think she would be fine with not having whole lobster if there was a dish out there in particular that was good (Citronelle's lobster and potato fried rice comes to mind). Thanks again. monavano
Wed. nights, The Fish Market has whole Maine lobster dinners for $14.99. I keep meaning to give them a try myself. http://www.fishmarketva.com/index.php?/site/menus/

My nine-year-old loves doing battle with a whole lobster so I think I'll take him there when he gets back from summer camp!
