winonelson Posted September 16, 2010 Share Posted September 16, 2010 Friends are getting married next weekend in the dupont circle area and the host of the friday night dinner pulled out - looking for someplace for about 18 people - fancy or quiet not needed - open as to cuisine - I guess either a place that could put us in a room or otherwise handle a large group seated together (even if at multiple tables). Good chance that you've eaten there more recently than I, but I would not send a friend to Cafe Dupont --I'd at least nosh before I put greenback dollars down for a room there. A week's notice, prime dining season, Friday night, 18 people....budget? The back room at Nora? Eola? Scion? They may have an upstairs room.
