PappyVanWise
In preparing for our move, we have a bunch of strollers, baby toys both large and small, and high chairs that we don't want to take with us. Does anyone know of a place that takes donations of these items? Preferably something in the Arlington area where I can drop everything off. monavano
There's a Goodwill @ Glebe Rd. & Rt. 50. eta: call around Women's Shelters.
beachgirl54
In Arlington, you could try Borromeo Housing - they help out needy single moms - http://borromeohousing.org/.
DonRocks
There's a Goodwill @ Glebe Rd. & Rt. 50. eta: call around Women's Shelters. Also a Salvation Army on Little River Turnpike just west of I-395 with a very helpful, efficient Drive-Thru drop-off. Some of these places will come to you (or at least they used to). Rhone1998
I know some places won't take cribs, bouncy-chairs, pack-n-plays, and the like for liability reasons so you might want to call ahead about items like that. Good luck...

PappyVanWise
Thanks everyone, the cribs and car seats are getting recycled since they're past their usefulness and safety windows. But I'll look into your suggestions for the strollers and newish toys.
