Habit, Independent Coffee Shop and Lounge Owned by, and Next to, Purple Patch in Mount Pleasant - Closed

I stopped by Habit today for a Flat White ($3.80) after having brunch at Purple Patch, and was very impressed with the craft involved in making my coffee. If you haven't been, Habit is a quaint little coffee shop which also offers several beers on tap, and is a huge benefit to the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.

Both Drew and his Barista warned me that neither the Flat White nor the Macchiato would travel well - I both knew this, and appreciated the warning. It was presented to me in a to-go cup, but was made with as much love as if I'd ordered it to drink inside (with the little frothed-milk heart and everything). I felt so bad for screwing up this little work of art that I actually apologized to the barista.
