reedm
Does anyone know of any places offering a "special" NYE lunch this year? As a general rule, we avoid venturing out that evening, but since NYE falls on a Saturday, I thought it might be fun to go have a nice lunch somewhere. I thought I just read something about places offering lunch, but I can't recall where I read it.

Grapeseed was offering all Champagne's for 50% off, and (although this may or may not catch your eye) had a 1996 Cristal Rosé for $312.50 which is less than half the current retail price, thinking that people would come early, enjoy some Champagne, and head elsewhere. Anyway, this is something to keep in mind for next year - remember the tags "New Year's Eve" and "Lunch" - hopefully, Invision will have instituted a Boolean AND by then, so you can winnow the two down (I've been urging them to do this for several years now, which is why I spend so much time on tags). We had a change of plans, so no worries. Thanks for following up! Our friends cooked a magnificent dinner, so we came out ahead. Feel free to delete and Happy New Year!
