naxos
Looking for a recommendation for 3 red wines for a wine tasting group that has met monthly for 25 plus years. Usually 2 price points - up to $50. Hoping to offer something unusual and good- harsh critics here;) Thank you

Ferris Bueller
One of my favorites is Blue Rock VIneyards - if you like a nice red, smooth and finishes nicely. There are two options, Blue Rock which is their higher end, French Oak aged (22 mos - but not necessarily better) cabernet sauvignon version at $49, or Baby Blue (blend) French Oak (12 mos) which typically runs around $30. MarkS
I'd recommend Rioja, Riserva and Grand Riserva all from same house Muga.
