Hopefully the result will be somewhere in the middle, but if I had to pick an extreme, I'd rather live in CSPIs world than caveat emptor for every bite that goes down the gullet. I am so sick of having the hubby pick up meat on sale only to discover the small print proclaiming that it has been adulterated with this crap. I've managed to pick it up by mistake once or twice, too. The adulterated pork Giant sells is inedible to me; it has a strong metallic tang.
