Medovnik (Russian Honey Cake)

Recommended Posts

Maybe the Russian Gourmet may have it? But they're in MD & VA.

That would be my suggestion as well. I bought some kind of Russian cake at the Rockville location a couple of years ago but I forgot what it was. There's another store (I'm blanking on the name) that's a couple of doors down from there in that Rockville shopping center that has Armenian and other foods.

Are you thinking of the place in the same center as Joe's Noodle. they used to have prepared foods. Cant remember the name.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to think of. I may even have posted something about going there. I'm pretty sure there's been a discussion of it by name.

ETA: I think I've got Russian Gourmet confused with the Russian store in that strip near Joe's. They are in different parts of Rockville, though I'm pretty sure I've also been to Russian Gourmet.

I searched my old posts, and it's European Delight I was thinking of that has the Russian foods near Joe's. Yekta is the store a couple of doors down.
