jandres374
We are having a party for 25-30 people and my wife wants to serve fried chicken but does not want to cook. Anyone have any good takeout places in Bethesda/NW DC area.

Anyone have any good takeout places in Bethesda/NW DC area. This whole thread reminded me of reading a Sally Quinn story about a party she threw (a long time ago) where there was a "mix-up" with the caterer concerning the date and she sent her hubby to the nearest Popeyes for food. She claimed it was all a HUGE success and so avant garde. 'Course, considering the source, it could all have been a gigantic lie.
jandres374
My wife wants to do Popeye's but thought I would check here to see if I could find a better option - sounds like that might be our best option.
Blackroosterpub
They just opened a Bojangles in Union Station. I'm sure they could do it if you called ahead. Much better than Popeys

goodeats
Does Oohs and Aahs have big orders? Don't they do fried chicken? Otherwise, El Pollo Campero is another contender, although the one time I had their chicken, it was a bit on the salty side. I am with DrXmus: don't mess with the Popeye's/Glopeyes crew! (haha, kidding.)
darkstar965
Maybe Central would do it if you ordered ahead and picked up? It's a bit further than Bethesda...downtown...but their fried chicken is excellent. Different style from what the General Store was doing.
