CrescentFresh Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 Hey, that's quite a deal on the Sam Smith Organic Beer for only $6 at happy hour! That's, like, twice the price they charge for it at Circle Bistro's happy hour.
ustreetguy Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I just ran across this item on CraigsList:http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/eve/131115564.html Anyone been there and have anything to report? I'm trying to think of something nice to say about this place, but I'm really reaching. If you happen to like other 17th Street places like Peppers, DIK (Dupont Italian Kitchen), or Trio's then you might not find this place as abhorrent as I do.
Heather Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 I'm trying to think of something nice to say about this place, but I'm really reaching. If you happen to like other 17th Street places like Peppers, DIK (Dupont Italian Kitchen), or Trio's then you might not find this place as abhorrent as I do. Please don't insult my Trio, please. It's an institution. The others...feh. Wasn't Peppers supposed to go away? That was something to look forward to. I am amused by this item on the FoodBar menu: Flaming Grilled Turkey Burger...8 If it's actually on fire that might be entertaining.
DCMark Posted February 6, 2006 Posted February 6, 2006 FoodBar ain't all that. All you can drink Mimosas sounds like all you can drink orange juice. That place is a brilliant looking building. The bar upstaits, Cobalt, can be fun. My wife likes cheezy Madonna remixes we go there from time to time.
