Kanishka
Does anyone know why Tequila Grill (20th & K NW) is shut down? The place sucks, and I suspect they got their liquor license revoked... just trying to confirm. Thanks for any help...
FunnyJohn
Could it be because... The place sucks?
Kanishka
Could it be because...Yes, but the suckitude lasted a long time. I suspect its more likely because of issues like this, but I'm not certain.
shogun
'Free Beer Night' was neither entirely free, nor was it nearly as cool as it sounds like it would be. Not after the third or fourth time, anyway...
TedE
I'm actually shocked this place is (was?) still open. It was the 3rd or 4th option when I came down to visit my friend at GWU in the early 90s when we were just out of high school. They were never much for checking IDs. The other 3 or 4 options have long since been shut down .
The Doctor
The worst service I ever had was at the Tequila Grill. Went for happy hour with a friend, and it wasn't crowded. Ordered a margarita, received it fine. Waitress came back, and I ordered a refill. It never came. After 10 mins or so, I flagged her down. Asked for the refill, it never came. Flagged down a second time (third refill order), it never came. I decided to forget it and we asked for the check. The check came (only one margarita, thankfully) and we paid. My friend went to use the restroom so I sat at the table waiting. The same waitress came up to me and says "Did your friend order a margarita?" Uhhh, yeah, something like that.
