So New Year's Eve is on a Sunday this year. I'd be interested to see if any restaurants that are usually closed on Sundays (like Corduroy) will be open and have any specials.

Way too early for this. Rocks are you still planning on selling your cellar? I need a drink.

At Indique Heights we are having a Prefix menu until 9 P.M and then a special gala with DJ and dancing until 2 A.M.

Presenting the ambience of a traditional Spanish New Year’s Eve, Jaleo will serve up a celebration on December 31st at all three locations. From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Jaleo will offer a la carte menu with specials. Then, after 8 p.m., guests can order unlimited tapas from both the holiday and seasonal menus for $85. Tapas for this once-a-year event includes the following:

Huevos de Codorniz con Caviar - quail eggs with caviar;

Bogavante con Clementinas, Pomelo y Llimón al Azafrán - lobster with clementines, grapefruit and lemon in saffron oil;

Cigalas a la Plancha - seared Norwegian lobster;

Cochinillo Asado - roasted suckling pig &

Codorniz al Romero y Aalioli de Miel - grilled quail with rosemary and honey aioli.

For dessert, Jaleo will feature Surtido de Turrones - a traditional holiday nougat.

The second seating includes a glass of sparkling cava for toasting, and following the New Year’s Eve Spanish custom, 12 good luck grapes for the celebration at midnight.

For entertainment after the ball drops, Jaleo in Bethesda located at 7271 Woodmont Avenue, 301-913-0003 will have a DJ for dancing.
