lion
My girlfriend has some friends with kids visiting from out of town next Friday. We're looking for a kid friendly vegatarian restaurant that is non Indian. With the absense of car seats we're stuck near the GW/Georgetown area. I'm stumped. Any place a 2 year old and 6 old might find fun? Thanks in advance!
bookluvingbabe
Ethiopian--they can eat with their hands! I haven't been to Zed's in at least 10 years. Is it still good?
DanielK
On the GW campus, maybe Tonic, Bertucci's or TGIF. In Georgetown, Zed's, Furin's, Clyde's, Pizzeria Paradiso.
sheldman
When you say you are looking for a vegetarian restaurant, do you mean a restaurant where a vegetarian could be happy, or a restaurant that is all vegetarian? If the latter, that's going to be difficult.
lackadaisi
I agree with the Ethiopian idea - my two-year-old loves it. Also, you can still use metro to get around, and depending on the parents' comfort level, cabs. Cabs are excluded from the carseat requirements. lion
Thanks for all the replies! I completely forgot about Pizzeria Paradiso in Georgetown. Was trying to get them to come out to VA, so we could make the trip to Pizzeria Orso, however coordinating that was proving to be difficult with the number of adults and kids (+car seats) in one. I think I was blinded by my desire to try Orso again with a large group.

Don't forget Il Canale - I've had both Il Canale and the Georgetown Paradiso in the past couple of weeks, and strongly preferred Il Canale (for pizza).
