monavano
Anyone know where I can find some blood orange juice in the DC metro area (preferably the VA side)? I bought a bottle "Italian Volcano" Blood Orange Juice at Home Goods just last week. Organic, product of Italy. $2.99. There was a good handful. I made a vinaigrette for salad and I also used it to dress oven-roasted brussel sprouts. I think World Market might be worth a try, too.
kmm
If you want to squeeze them yourself - Balducci's on Old Dominion has them for 3.99/lb... Last time I want to Italy I had a Blood Orange soda similar to Orangina that I would love to find here!
lmnop
I've seen it freshly squeezed at the Wegmans in Sterling. Not sure about other locations or whether they always have it.
Anna Blume
Sigh. Tropicana used to make Ruby Red orange juice w blood oranges and you could buy it at Safeway, Giant, etc., but then Pepsi decided we Neanderthals wouldn't buy it so they sell it to soccer hooligans in Manchester (UK) instead. Shame.
goodeats
Not quite the same, but thought it was funny that Amazon's Friday Sale had Lorina Sparkling Blood Orange French soda.
zoramargolis
I saw blood orange juice at Balducci's in McLean just the other day. Expensive, naturally.
SeanMike
I saw it at Harris Teeter last time I was there (Lee Harrison) and know I've seen it at Wegman's and Whole Foods before.
