FTR the closest I've come to really pleasant gastronomical soundtracks is at the Connecticut Avenue location of Dolcezza. However, I mostly would prefer the kind of experience expatriates enjoyed in Parisian coffeehouses back in olden times--minus the cigarettes (or requests for a fight).
