porcupine Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 There is a place in Georgetown called Macaron Bee that looks interesting. They have a very wide variety of colors/flavors. I too have no interest in the gigantic variety of macarons. The small ones pack more than enough sweetness (I found the TJ chocolate to be the best; the vanilla were way too sweet for me). I'd be interested in anyone else's opinion of Macaron Bee. I found the product too sweet and not very flavorful, but I only went once and tried just two.

I've been twice--once right after it opened and then onces in the last few weeks. I wouldn't seek it out again--not worth the effort or the calories or money.
Rieux Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 I actually loved the lemon macarons from Macaron Bee, and really enjoyed the caramel ones. I was not as in love with the raspberry.
DonRocks Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I randomly happened upon Macaron Bee during this stroll through North Georgetown - I didn't even know it existed, and was shocked when I saw it.
