Rí­ Rí¡ Irish Pub, 31st and M Street in Georgetown - Clarendon Location Closed As of May 31, 2015

Sadly, the Clarendon location of Rí­ Rí¡ Irish Pub lost their lease as of yesterday, and is permanently closed; the Georgetown location at 3125 M Street is still open.

Oooooooooooffff.   Heard the other day from a former employee at Ri Ra Clarendon that the staff had NO notice of the closing!!!!   Ugggggggggghhhh.   In fact he heard about it the day before the closing via a vendor.  A freaking vendor.  Oooooh.  that is tough.

While this happens in the restaurant business it also happens across the board in other industries.  Its never pleasant.

Meanwhile heard from a manager at Georgetown that they are doing great and are one of the two or 3 shining lights in that chain with restaurants spread across the country.
