Would someone give me a classic game that's on the internet to watch, and tell me who/what to be looking out for?

(I'm not oblivious to soccer; my knowledge of the actual players, teams, and leagues is close to nil.)

Hmm, I'm not sure about a classic game. Not sure what is up on the internet.  

However, if you would like to watch the blow by blow collapse of a proud soccer nation, Brazil v Germany 1-7 from the 2004 WC.  If they end up meeting again in Russia, it will be one of the main story lines of the tournament.

You should watch the Spain v. Portugal game at 2.  Spain plays a possession style game while Portugal will defend and counter with Ronaldo.  You'll get a sense why possession style is more beautiful to watch, but does not guarantee a win.  Spain lacks a deadly striker but they will control the ball.  Portugal may park the bus but Ronaldo will break out and have shots.

If you want some interesting reading, look up Argentinian newspapers right now.  I don't know Spanish but could figure out a few unhappy words from the headlines.
