Situated on Lake Anne in Reston, Kalypso's Sports Tavern, with expansive outdoor seating across from the dock area and water. Plaza is dated due to the concrete theme of 1970s construction, but there are several recent additions to the area which all appear to be fairing well. Had not been here in some time but found ourselves there Sunday and decided to give it another shot. Outdoor seating area was nice, umbrellas are a little worn and could use a cleaning, but the open-air area was nice. They have improved their ordering system so it is automated and very efficient. From Humus appetizer to dinner salads, entrees and kids meals, everything was fresh, and nicely prepared. Service was efficient, and food came out quickly and hot. Lucky for us they had live music Saturday evening starting at 5:30 PM, which was great for atmosphere. Place was decently busy and when we departed around 7, there were people waiting to be seated. -
I'm hoping I am not the first to post as this place is clean, with 2 bars, a decent beer & cocktail program & good service to boot. David and I have been there 4 times. 3 for dinner and 1 for brunch (Great Bloody Mary Bar with all the fixins) Solid Burgers & Wings, French toast; that's about all we have tried. Some good beers on tap. A nice casual escape from the Clarendon scene. -Wendy -

I did not know there's a sausage party in my backyard, it's called Tysons Biergarten. You have to buy food and drink tokens. Website- 1 reply

Bati Build America Plaza 3815 S George Mason Dr Falls Church, VA 22041 (703) 379-1799 Our "go to" place for Ethiopian food. Very flavorful and inexpensive. The lamb tibs are amazing! The only downside: they are located inside a very busy plaza with other Ethiopian restaurants/shops, so parking is often an issue.
