goodeats Posted July 26, 2010 Share Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) Wednesday, August 11, 7:30pm: Chef Jeff Heineman will be featuring products from Grapeseed’s own farm in Woodbine, Maryland, supplemented by products from other fine artisans, farmers and fishermen. $55 per person, tax, tip and wine pairings included. $45 per person, tax and tip included for those opting out of pairings. Please reply here or PM me if you wish to RSVP and the list will be updated here. Chef Jeff will chime in with the final menu soon. Please bring cash with you. Pics from last event here. Softshell Crab, Cloud Nine Corn Chowder(Skeeter's Farm), Benton's Bacon (Allan Benton, Smokey Mountain Country Hams, Tennessee). Grilled Maryland Beef Hanger Steak (Piedmont Ridge Farm, White Hall, Md), Pecorino New Potatoes (Grapeseed), Our Own Chili Sauce. Fresh-picked Woodbine, Maryland Blueberries (These are from Grapeseed farm's next door neighbors), three ways, Limoncello. Pairings: rich surprise. Information to be supplemented at a later time. How many restaurants of this caliber in the DC area serve you a course with a glass of wine for less than $9? Why are only 12 people signed up for this?
